Fraser 41 - Offshore Blue Water Classic
Marova is a custom built Fraser 41, a world class Canadian blue water offshore sailboat. A high performance cruiser, Marova has sailed from her home port of Vancouver, British Columbia, across the Pacific Ocean via Hawaii, Marquesas and Galapagos to New Zealand, returning to Canada via the Austral Islands and Polynesia. Built by the De Kleer brothers, this versatile craft has obtained a reputation for durability and solid performance. Marova took first place in the single-handed 2 day RNSA (Royal Navy Sailing Association) race. Currently embarked on a journey down the Pacific Coast, through the Panama Canal and the Caribbean to the Mediterranean Sea, contact us about getting on board this classic cruiser. Marova is still sailed by her original owner, who is looking for someone to take over this truly remarkable sailboat. Below decks you will immerse yourself in the warm spacious glow of the hand picked Burmese golden teak. A three cabin layout which is unique to the Fraser 41's, Marova has two aft cabins. The galley to port takes advantage of the full 12 foot plus beam, with spacious counters, double sinks, fridge and freezer. To starboard is a large and functional chart table, designed by an offshore experienced cruiser. Moving forward you will find a settee to starboard, beyond which is a diesel heater by Dickinson. Port side takes you into the crescent shaped teak and oak dinette table which will seat six adults for fine dining. More forward on port are the head and shower, opposite a large starboard hanging locker with shoe storage below. Forward are twin berths and chain locker.
