Folkdancer 27 - Available now

'Tiffane', Folkerdancer 27 built in 1968 by ARC Marine in Littlehampton. Tiffane is a long keeled yacht derived from the Folkboat. Designed by Frederick R. Parker and constructed from GRP, she is well built and has a good motion in heavier sea conditions. Listed on the Small Ships Register SSR 122233, sail number GBR 4404L. She has been cruised in the Irish Sea to include Northern Ireland, Scotland, the Isle of Man and Eire (including competing in Cork Week 2010) as well as her regular cruising grounds of North and West Wales and Anglesey. Tiffane has been regularly sailed and maintained to a good standard. She benefits from a new Beta 10hp engine and gearbox. Lying Conwy Marina.

Construction:
Tiffane is a Folkdancer 27, designed by Fred Parker and built by ARC Marine Ltd of Littlehampton in 1968.

Tiffane is of a long keeled hull and round bilge form with raked stem and counter stern.

GRP deck, painted with non-slip deck paint, GRP hull, painted white topsides, dark blue anti-foul, red boot top. Topsides professionally repainted 2010

Mechanical:

Beta 10hp diesel inboard engine and gearbox (New 2012), conventional shaft drive to a 3-bladed fixed propeller (new 2009).

30 hours run to date. First engine service carried out.

Electrical Systems:

12v DC system supplied by 2 x12v Optima BlueTop gel batteries (2007), switched. Batteries charged via engine alternator.

Digital volt and ammeter.Switch panel with circuit breakers and gauges at chart table - new 2007

Manually pumped cold water supply

Rigging and Sails:

Deck stepped black anodised Proctor mast and boom with single pair of spreaders.  Backstay replaced 2007
