This is Hull #1 of 6 Ted Hood designed Cape 30s built by the Cape Dory Boat Building Co.Updated with diesel engine, modern furler, new sails but preserved by one loving family for the past 30 years. She is finished in mahogany to exacting standards. There are two large ports and two small oval ports on each side to allow plenty of light to enter the cabin. The main salon includes a  mahogany table, with fiddles, and a U shaped settee to port and straight settee to starboard.Salon has 4 reading lamps and 2 foot lights.  The galley is to starboard of the companionway with a variety of storage lockers and drawers, an Origo 4000 alcohol  2 burner stove, spacious sink spacious, deep icebox with top cover, cold pressure water and hand pump for salt water. A deep wet locker to port and divided dry locker are convenient for storage. Forward, the enclosed head is to port with a pull out sink and electric flush toilet.
