CONSTRUCTION                            

Built in 1996.  GRP construction with blue topsides and white superstructure, twin bilge keels, self draining aft cockpit with tiller steering, 5 berth interior layout and interior wheel steering, Bermudan sloop rig with self tacking jib.  Headroom in the main cabin is around 6ft.

SAILS  & RIG:                          

Slab reefing fully battened mainsail (2007), zip bag mainsail cover with lazyjacks.  Selden Furlex self tacking headsail roller furling.  Headsail by Arun (2008).  Original mainsail available as a spare.  Cruising chute with snuffer. Fractional sloop rig with alloy mast and boom and stainless steel standing rigging. 

ENGINE:                                           

Nanni 2.50HE twin cylinder 14HP inboard diesel engine with around 500 running hours.  Freshwater cooling with calorifier.  Alternator charging to 3 x 12 volt batteries (engine starting, domestic and bowthruster).  Sterling battery management system and solar panel.  Shore power with inbuilt battery charger.  10 gallon fuel tank (tank new 2012/13) with a consumption per hour of around 1/3 of a gallon at a cruising speed of about 5 knots.  Shaft drive to variprop feathering propeller with Cutlass rope cutter.

Suunto bulkhead compass, One Suunto compass in cabin, Raymarine ST60 wind instruments, Raymarine ST50 log and echo sounder with repeater in cabin, Raymarine ST2000 autopilot with remote, Raymarine chart plotter, Raymarine RS8300 non DSC VHF radio, navigation lights. Radar reflector.

DOMESTIC EQUIPMENT:           

Webasto 3 outlet diesel heating system.  Her galley has a 2 burner Origo spirit cooker, sink with pressurised hot and cold water supply (hot water via engine calorifier or 240 volt immersion heater).  Her separate heads compartment has a Jabsco marine toilet with washbasin and shower.  Cool box. 

ACCOMMODATION:                  

She Blue fabric upholstery with a teak and holly cabin floor.  Modified saloon table, solar fan.  Shore power sockets and 2 x 12 volt charging points.  Forehatch replaced in 2012/13. 

FEATURES:                                      

Topsides resprayed in original blue by Swale Marine Boatyard in 2012/13.

REMARKS:                               

“Boomer” has been based here in Tollesbury Marina in recent years, coming ashore in winter months and sailing the East Coast rivers during the summer.  She is extremely well equipped for a boat of this size including bowthruster, anchor windlass, hot and cold water, plotter and autopilot.  Her topsides have recently been resprayed and look very smart and the boat appears generally well presented and ready to see.
