2004 Valiant 42 Midnight Snack

Extremely clean, well equipped, low hour Valiant 42 Midnight Snack has been equipped by a knowledgeable captain, and is prepared for cruising.  Plans changed, so the owner had to cut the cruise short, and has decided to sell this exceptional Valiant 42.  These boats are capable of taking long trips and are considered performance cruisers.  Two private staterooms and comfortable living spaces make these boats desirable for one, two, or three couples.

Chain locker access forward of V-berth.  Forward stateroom has V-berth with four cupboards, and shelves above on each side.  Hanging locker to port, drawers under berth, and cabinetry to starboard.  Seats on either side just aft of bunk under storage. Salon has bulkhead mounted flat-panel TV, entertainment center, shelves and cupboards over convertible settee on port, long settee, cupboards and shelves above on starboard.  Centerline dining table with two folding leaves to accommodate six.

Aft in salon is a well equipped U-shaped galley on port with ample counter space, larger insulated refrigeration box, double stainless sink, and gimbaled stove.  Across from galley is a forward-facing nav station equipped with the navigation and communication equipment for extended cruising.  Just aft of the nav station is a pantry with pull-out shelves.

Next aft on starboard is a separate shower/wet locker and head with electric and manual flush; sanitation hoses replaced 2011.  Access to the engine room is through the bulkhead aft of head.  Across from head is a double stateroom with privacy door and opening window that gives an open spacious feeling. Companionway steps lead to the secure and sheltered cockpit.  There are twelve stainless steel hood opening portlights, and five deck hatches with bug screens that ensure excellent ventilation.
