Nonsuch 30 By Hinterhoeller - Nice Updates and Upgrades

With one sail, one halyard, one sheet, and two winches, Daisy, is the ultimate in uncomplicated sailing. The Nonsuch 30 was introduced in 1978 as the first offering of Hinterhoeller Yachts of St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada, and with more than 500 Nonsuch 30s built, they hold their value well.

 The design is from Mark Ellis, and combines the distinctive shear of a Cape Cod-styled catboat with a moderate-aspect-ratio fin keel. She has a low wetted surface and a partially balanced spade rudder, with a draft of five feet, and a 11'-10" beam. This results in greater interior volume and spacious accommodations.

Daisy’s layout has opposing settees forward with a drop-leaf table between which forms a dinette or double berth followed by a large mid-ship head and shower on the starboard side and large galley on the port followed by opposing port and starboard quarter berths. The mast is free standing leaving the deck open and uncluttered.

She’s received a repower in 2012 with a new diesel Beta 25hp. The Beta has just been serviced, has 110hrs., and drives a Gori 3-blade folding propeller. A very nice cruising dodger with a hard top protects the cockpit.
