Dockrell 27 - Motivated Seller!

Designed by Ian Anderson and built throughout the 70s and 80's by Dockrell Yachts of Tavistock, the Dockrell 27 is a safe, strong and solidly-built little cruiser, reknowned for her seaworthiness and with a justified reputation as a great little family cruiser. This example has been very well looked after by her current owner and is competitively priced to encourage a quick sale.

Uniquely, the keel of the Dockrell has a flared base so that, with the aid of removable beaching legs, she can take the ground upright (the designers claimed that she is so well balanced through the keel that the beaching legs aren't necessary to keep her upright - no owner has ever been traced that had the nerves to test this claim!)

2009 Survey available by request. Currently wintering ashore here at Ardfern.

Hull and deck constructed in traditional style GRP mouldings, finished in gelcoat. Hull is white with braod red coachline stripe, topsides are white with beige non-slip panels contour fitted around all deck areas. Cockpit locker lids also covered in non-slip panels. Wooden duckboard panel in cockpit areas to allow free-drainage of water.
