This excellent example of the very popular SPRAY designed by Bruce Roberts International  was professionally  fitted out by Sea Feast Marine in W.A. in 1997.  Steel construction ensures she is  strong, robust and seaworthy and these very popular vessels are a modern day classic designed from the lines of Joshua Slocum’s original Spray, the first yacht to sail single handed around the world. 

Devon Gypsy is cutter rigged and has a good sail wardrobe including furling headsails, fully battened mainsail and MPS, good winches and robust anchoring gear. She has a long keel and is fitted with a reliable Nanni 50hp diesel engine with a 100amp alternator, has two plotters, autopilot, AIS, HF and VHF radios, inverter, Pioneer entertainment system and ample refrigeration.

She has a very practical solid dodger over the deep aft cockpit, a four man life-raft,  near new 2.7m RIB and O/B and all safety gear and her overall condition is excellent.

Devon Gypsy circumnavigated Australia in 2005 before spending the next few seasons cruising the W.A. coast of Australia including the Kimberlys, circumnavigation of Australia in 2005/6 and then embarking in 2008 on an extended cruise throughout S.E.Asia. She is now berthed at Rebak Marina, Langkawi, Malaysia.
