Koopmans 50

Designed by Dirk Koopmans, this Koopmans 50 is a true world cruiser in absolutely pristine condition throughout. No expense was spared in the construction or in the fitting out of this beautiful yacht. Fully new teak deck fitted in 2009. The rod rigging was placed by Nirvana in 2004 The yacht is built by Koopmans Jachten Sneek Holland. Dutch registered.

The Mitsubishi 6D14 engine normally produces 125 hp @ 2800 rpm. This engine however is restricted to maximum 1800 rpm. This gives it a top speed of 8.5 knots. It cruises 6.8 knots @ 1100 rpm by 5 L/h and 6 knots by 1020 rpm using even less fuel.

The propeller is a Max Prop 3 bladed folding.
