Siward is a classic Alan Buchanan masterpiece. Built by William King and Sons UK (1964) in iroko on Iron elm frames with teak cockpit and spruce mast.She is a graceful yacht well proven in the southern ocean. She was sailed to New Zealand from the UK via the Cape of Good Hope in the 1980's.

She has accommodations for three and is powered by an 18 hp Volvo 2002 twin cylinder engine. She also features in a book , "How to Sail a Boat" as part of Awa Press Ginger series Written by her owner. She is reported to be in excellent condition according to a recent survey which would be available upon request by an interested party.
