Navigator Custom 2008 Freshwater History - One of a Kind Custom 56
Built in 2001 Re-Launched in 2008. This is a vessel with an Interesting History that Explains the Low Hours and Pristine Condition. The original owner moved the boat to a custom, climate controlled building inland (California) in 2005. The eccentric builder/developer hired a marine architect and redesigned the flying bridge and dismantled the original interior to the studs. He then proceeded to remodel the interior from scratch hiring a custom millwork company to finish the interior and a custom fiberglass company to reconstruct the bridge to his specifications. The interior is a mellow, honey colored, all teak wood finish that is a classic styling that will hold her popularity for decades. 3 Years in a Climate Controlled Boathouse and 3 Years on Lake Tahoe makes for a Much Newer Version than a Similar Year Model. The Pilothouse Glass is Taller by 14 inches and less angled which provides better visibility. The original hollow, roof cowling space was used while maintaining essentially the same interior and exterior height overall. That feature combined with the lower profile roof deck gives her a nice streamlined look, more light and visibility. 3 Years In a Climate Controlled Boathouse and the 3 years on Lake Tahoe makes this One of a Kind Navigator many years "Younger" than any other saltwater version in the same age range. The Aft Bridge Deck was Curved to add a more distinctive configuration from every vantage point, especially the flying bridge lounging footprint. Very Frugal to Cruise The current owner typically ran the in the 7-10 knots range at about 1500 RPM's and states just under 3 gallons an hour burn rate for both engines combined. Maximum Speed per GPS is reported as 24-26 knots which should put the boat in a comfortable and efficient range at about 18 knots (estimated). The Props have been Balanced and Blueprinted and documentation is on board. Generator is Kohler 800 with 1000 Hours Xantrex Inverter/Charger Model SW 3000 Heads are both VacuFlush Underwater Lights. Boston Whaler 130 Sport Model with 40HP Mercury 4-Stroke Included All Teak Interior Rebuilt to a New Standard and Launched in 2008 This a Special Edition...for sure.
