Serendipity Aft Cabin Cruiser-Racer Masthead Cutter - New arrival

The Serendipity 43 was designed by Doug Peterson and built by New Orleans Marine.  The boats were very successful on various IOR racing circuits throughout the 1980's, winning the SORC in 1983 (Scarlett O'Hara).

Depending upon custom changes to rig, sail area, and other minor parameters, the PHRF rating for Serendipity 43's ranges between 62 and 72... an indication that these boats are, indeed, high-performance cruisers!

By virtue of their superior construction and excellent handling characteristics, today, many of these well-built racers have been converted to serious cruising boats, the choice of sailors that want not only a solid and safe cruising boat, but a boat that is still fun to sail, capable of "surviving the storm" as well as moving nicely through the water under sail in mild ocean breezes.
