Schock - Priced for quick sale
After almost a year of ownership Life changes force the current owner to sell at a significant discount. This is an opportunity to have a great performance cruiser at an incredible price. She won't last long. Make no mistake, the low price does not reflect the condition of the boat in any way. Schock Therapy is a prime example of a well kept 1985 Schock 35 billed as The Premier Offshore One Design at it's inception. This 35 is clean & dry throughout, her brightwork below is well taken care of, her cushions are plush and have years of use left them. She is well outfitted for racing with newer North carbon sails but is just as ready for cruising with her capable electronics package, extremely functional galley, large Nav desk, enclosed head and large aft quarterberths. Truly a versatile vessel, this Schock 35 shows the care of knowledgeable ownership and is ready to race or cruise today. Beginning the bow behind the enclosed chain locker Shock Therapy has a large open forepeak with a beautifully varnished teak and holly platform forming a clean and open sail storage area. With room to hang your running rigging and other gear on the hull sides the forepeak in this Shock 35 allows you to dry and store your gear in a bright open and airy storage area. Next aft to Port is the vanity with a single basin stainless sink, pressure and manual water with counter mounted soap dispenser. Cabinet storage is outboard behind the mirrored sliding doors with a large storage hold below the counter. To Starboard is the toilet situated behind a swinging door that either hides the toilet when not in use or swings around to close off the area from the main boat for a large private area to change or use the head. Aft of the head is the large open and bright main Salon. With its 6’ 3” headroom, white painted inside of coach roof and all of the mounting bolts covered with crown nuts she gives as open, cleanable and bright surfaces as you could ask for. Plush red cushions line both sides of the boat with pilot berths above and storage throughout. Her mast is keel stepped through the center of the salon and at its base is the well varnished teak and holly floorboards set inside the molded fiberglass interior Next aft to Starboard is the large navigation area with a comfortable forward facing seat, top lifting nav desk with storage below. Against the hull is her electrical panels and battery switch amongst more storage areas above and below. Mounted to the desk you’ll find an upgraded Garmin GPS. To Port is the functional galley area with newer propane stove/oven, single basin stainless sink with pressure fresh water and manual sea water pump next to the top loading icebox. Plenty of storage outboard against the hull and below the counters gives you the space you need for extended cruises around the PNW. Next aft, split by the fully enclosed fresh water cooled Yanmar diesel, is the large aft quarterberths with plush red cushions with a varnished teak and holly platform between the bunks aft of the motor enclosure to keep your bags out of the bilge. Next aft is the outside only accessible lazerrette storage to make it easy to store and grab you docking gear from the cockpit and keep it out of the interior of your boat.
