Designed by Raymond Wall of the Camper & Nicholsons fame, the CS 36 reflects quality both in design and in construction.  She is a sloop with a double-spreader rig, all stainless-steel hardware on deck with nice lines, a shoal draft fin keel and a detached rudder mounted on a partial skeg. The hull itself is not flat-bottomed but instead has a nice shape to it which avoids (pounding) when encountering large seas. You will find that the vessel is built in the middle of the spectrum, not too narrow, or too beamy.

Bottom line -- she has the old style quality design and old style quality construction which is more than sufficient for traversing the old style, never changing sea!

The interior is open with plenty of natural lighting and ventilation as the ports all open up.  Custom cushions on the settees add another dimension of comfort.  Sleeps six with two in the V-Berth, one on the port settee, two on the starboard settee that pulls out to a double and one in the quarter berth.  

The forward cabin features the V-Berth, storage and a privacy door leading to the salon, aft port is a large cedar lined hanging locker, to starboard is a huge head compartment, the salon features a single settee to port with storage and an L-Shaped settee to starboard with a centerline table with two folding leaves.  Aft to port is the U-Shaped galley to starbaord is the navigation station with a large chart table and the quarter berth.  You will find the cockpit to be more than accommodating for long passages or for some serious napping while on the hook!  The raised helm seat behind the steering pedestal is comfortable and easily removable.
