Farr 1220

A good example of this ever popular Kiwi classic built in 1987. A one owner boat that was commissioned after the family had run out of room on their 34 footer and had spent time on Kim McDell's 1220. For the past 27 years she has been the family's holiday home for three generations and their dogs and has seen many bays from Waiheke, Great Barrier, the Bay of islands and as far north as Houhora. Powered by a Volvo 43 with 2800 hours that has been overhauled and equipped with a furling headsail, main, spinnaker, #3 headsail and storm sails. She has had a number of up-grades including a hull repaint in 2008, new roller furler in 2009, and a new sprayhood & freezer compressor last year. Definitely worth viewing.
