Willard 30 Vega "Nomad" Pilothouse Trawler

The Willard 30 has won lots of hearts over the years for her salty looking appearance and super economical operation and is one of the great values on todays market.  Her double ended hull design and heavy displacement provide a secure and comfortable ride. With diesel power and a full displacement, ballasted hull, fuel burn is about 3/4 gallon per hour at 6 knots. "Thursdays Child" is a well equipped and customized example of this popular trawler. REMARKS:

The Willard 30 Vega Nomad is a stout "pocket" trawler with ballasted, full displacement hull designed for coastal and inland cruising.  Her efficient single stateroom layout with a roomy salon, fully equipped galley is ideally suited to the cruising couple.  Salon settee/dinette converts to a double berth, large windows provide plenty of natural lighting. Her classic double ended hull and relatively heavy displacement provide a secure and comfortable ride in a variety of sea conditions and notably in a following sea..  Her single 51 HP diesel provides a range of close to 350 miles at a 6 knot hull speed.

VESSEL WALKTHROUGH

As you enter the cabin from the cockpit entry door immediately to starboard is an L-shaped settee with Table; To port is the galley with Force 10 2 burner stove with oven, sink, microwave and Top load refrigerator good galley stowage/countertop surface area and across to starboard is a freezer with Technicold holding plates . Forward to starboard is the Lower Helm station and Down forward 2 steps is a good sized vee-berth (6' 4") cabin with drawer storage, hanging locker and to starboard is an enclosed head with vanity, toilet and shower.   Interior fabrics, cushions, sole is in excellent condition with an attractive nautical color scheme and the large salon windows give the boat an open, airy and very "Traditional Yachty"  feel.
