With her sleek lines, the new Victoire 42RE (launched 2013) is an update of the classic and elegant Victoire 42 of the Dutch yard Victoire Yachts (established 1961) She is a classic yacht with a modern twist, courtesy of the Dutch-Danish design office, Powerhouse Company. This new model boasts a strikingly smooth and streamlined silhouette, which captures the characteristic shape of Victoire yachts and refines it still further to create a truly contemporary profile. By adjusting the molds and streamlining the hull shape, the classic line is more pronounced and visible. Her clean lines and appearance are accentuated by the uniform finish of the deck in Esthec, a new, innovative composite material that adds a warm, organic feel to the simple, almost minimalist design. Given the smooth, flat profile of the deck, the spacious feel of the cabin interior below comes as a pleasant surprise.
