William Garden 40' Double Ended Sloop - A unique boat with history

Built in Sydney, Australia during 1967/8 'Rainbow' is a unique boat with a fascinating history and is reluctantly offered for sale following more than 30 years of ownership in the one family.

Having made passage to the UK from Australia under her own hull via the Pacific and Panama during 1973/4 her Northerly migration finished on Scotland's West Coast. The double ended classically designed timber hull is ideally suited to long distance cruising, offering comfortable and practical sea going accommodation for a crew of 6. Throughout the current family ownership the boat has been continually and professionally maintained.

An interesting wooden boat which has provided much enjoyment over the years and is ready to sail off on further adventures with new owners.Wintering ashore this winter at Ardfern.
