Phil Rhodes Offshore 40' built by Cheoy Lee in 1969. 156 vessels of this class were built from 1964 - 1976. Given their vintage, all face commom issues, however SISKIWIT has been frequently and professionally upgraded by the current owner. Removal of the original teak deck replaced w/fiberglass; diesel engine rebuilt in 2013; rudder and rudder stock replaced new in 2002; dyform rigging; awlgrip of hull, deck, coach roof and cockpit. Upgrade of hatches and all wood ports changed to SS ports. Comfortable interior and fully equipped for live aboard family or ideal for a couple. Headroom 6'5". Ample ventilation makes for tropical comfort. Seller has lived aboard for 6+ years and cruised Great Lakes, Atlantic seaboard, Bahamas out islands during 22 years of ownership. Interior is well illuminated with 2 Alpenglow in galley and head, 4 brass reading lamps, 3 chromed overhead lights in main salon, forward cabin and chart table, 1 Aqua Signal chart light, Perko engine room light and a red/white night light at the hatch ladder.
