The Camano 31 Troll boasts amazing popularity for a variety of reasons. Often referred to as a “stout little ship”, the Camano 31 is capable of handling a wide range of conditions such as the demanding Northwest waters, where she was engineered to operate. The vessel is simple to maintain & operate, and is as versatile as a Swiss army knife. The Camano is well equipped, very comfortable and roomy far beyond what her dimensions suggest. High on the long list of desirable features are the large wrap-around windows that provide a 360° panoramic view from the lower helm and salon, elevating the visual enjoyment and safety of the Captain and guests while under way. Performance of the 31 Troll is exceptional. It feels solid and maneuvers extremely well. A large rudder and bow thruster make docking and operating in tight spaces a breeze. The trademark Camano “keelform” hand laid solid fiberglass hull provides a smooth dry ride, and aids to vessel stability as well as efficiency. The substantial keel provides full protection for the four bladed prop and gives the boat a very stable feel at all speeds. A stainless steel plate extends back from the keel to the rudder to protect the prop in case of a grounding. The Camano 31 has the feel of a much larger boat and turns quickly and steadily. There is no need for trim tabs as her low center of gravity and near horizontal drive shaft take the boat up to planing speeds with minimal bow rise. The single fuel sipping 200HP Volvo diesel will consume approximately 1.5 GPH at 7 knots and about 5 GPH at 13 knots. At WOT, she will reach 16 + knots.

The Camano 31' features One Stateroom, One Head, a very practical Galley (down) and a spacious Salon with a Lower Helm Station and a large Settee & Table that serves as an Entertaining Center, Dining Area and a Convertible Double Berth. Although known as a perfect couples boat, the Camano 31 will entertain up to eight, allow up to six to dine and sleep four (two in the forward stateroom and two in the convertible dinette/settee).

Beginning forward, there is a full width double V-berth with storage drawers below. On the hull sides, there are storage cubbies with port lights to port & starboard of the berth, storage for each of the two dinette fillers and a large opening hatch overhead. Aft of the forward stateroom, on the port side, is a U-shaped galley with over & under counter storage. Across, to starboard of the galley is a large hanging locker just forward of the enclosed head w/wand shower and pull around shower curtain. Going aft and up two steps is the main salon. To starboard is the lower helm station with a comfortable helm seat for the Captain to use while under way. The seat can be folded away when not in use. To port, across from the lower helm, is a beautiful mahogany work station with chart storage. Just aft of the work station, the large L-shaped convertible settee w/high-low table wraps around the port stern quarter. Engine access is beneath the salon sole, protected by a carpeted hatch that is aided by air struts. This overly-large hatch allows easy engine access to both the main propulsion and the sound insulated generator. Exit the salon through the aluminum outward swinging door to a generous aft cockpit with integral steps to the port & starboard side decks, lazarette storage with a large access hatch, a centerline transom door and a fiberglass swim platform. From the cockpit there is a ladder up to the flybridge w/Upper Helm Station. The bridge features three helm seats and a full electronics package. Equipment is protected by custom helm & seat covers and a double bimini top.
