Custom Robert Perry Sloop

The design brief for STARBUCK included the following conditions:

• Extremely fast under sail
• Able to power at 10 knots
• Fun to sail and easily handled by a couple
• User friendly cockpit and interior
• Simple systems
• Minimum maintenance

The combination of renowned designer Robert Perry and grand prix racing yacht builder Dennis Choate (DENCHO MARINE, INC.) along with the vision of the highly experienced Owners has produced a beautifully sculpted, exciting yacht. 

STARBUCK has just emerged from a mini-refit at the builder's yard (6/14) that included a complete re-painting of the topsides and deck in Awlgrip, new antifouling, mast removed and inspected including standing rigging and serviced, new lifelines and new Ullman full batten Mainsail and Furling Jib

The first 15' of STARBUCK is devoted to anchor locker, general stowage and workshop.  There are work benches, cabinets and drawers on both sides.  Next aft is the Owner's Bath with shower, bathtub, Scandvik SS sink and monolever faucet, Formica countertops, and Sealand Vacuflush toilet.  The full width Owner's Stateroom follows and features a queen berth to starboard and several large hanging lockers, drawers, and cabinets.  This opens to the huge, comfortable Main Salon with a large dinette that affords dining for eight to starboard and settee opposite.  There is additional storage outboard and above to both port and starboard.  Aft to starboard is the spacious Galley which features abundant counter space surrounded by large storage lockers with Lexan sliding doors and numerous drawers and cabinets under.  There is a 12 cu. ft. (approx) top loading refrigerator/freezer with Glacier 12V cold plate refrigeration system, gimballed Force 10 LPG 3-burner stove w/ oven and broiler, built in GE microwave oven, Scandvik polished SS double sink w/ monolever faucet, and Whale freshwater and saltwater foot pumps.  Opposite the Galley is the Navigation Station with large chart table and surrounded by the electrical distribution panel and built in electronics.  Aft of the Navigation Station is the Guest Bath which includes a separate stall shower, Scandvik SS sink and faucet, Formica countertops and Sealand Vacuflush toilet.  There are equal size double berthed Guest Staterooms aft to port and starboard.
