Beneteau 40 Cc

The Beneteau 40CC is an excellent combination of sailing performance and 'liveability'.  The Groupe Finot hull combines performance with the versatility of a center cockpit. The boat has wide side decks a good-sized aft deck, with big lazarettes on each quarter and a comfortable cockpit. The interior has a cozy salon, independent chart table & plenty of storage. The galley is fantastic - long and workable.  The spacious aft cabin has a centerline berth & lots of storage as well as a large head.  The Pullman berth in the forward cabin allows for a head in the bow and room to move about in the cabin, as well as loads of storage.

Captiva is a really clean and superbly maintained Beneteau 40CC, she is in the best condition of any 40CC I have seen in recent years.  Her owners  sail her actively and have upgraded her systems, keeping them in good working order over the years and have ensured that she is in top shape.

The Beneteau Center cockpit has a companionway forward of the cockpit which leads into the salon. To starboard of the companionway is the dinette, with a C-shaped settee on a raised cabin sole and a table that folds up to form a substantial surface. It has bookshelves along the hull and storage lockers behind and below the seating area and floor.

Opposite the dinette, is the Nav station with a comfortable, upholstered, seat, large chart table and good storage. Forward of the nav station is a sizable locker with surface area for personal belongings. The forecabin has a Pullman-style berth to starboard, hanging locker and settee to port. The spacious forward head is in the bow.

The Galley can be found behind the nav station, to port, on either side of the walk-through to the aft cabin. Well equipped, it has a large refrigerator & freezer with side-by side, top-loading hatches, double stainless steel sinks, an ENO 3-burner stove with oven & plentiful counter space. Storage can be found above and below the counters and there is a separate, narrow counter top with microwave oven on top and lockers below, on the midships side of the walkthrough.

The master cabin is in the stern of the boat and has a queen-sized bunk with ‘bedside table’ lockers on either side of the bunk, hanging lockers, a vanity with large mirror and access to the large aft head, with separate shower, on the starboard side. The engine can be accessed from the aft cabin, below the vanity, the companionway and from both sides.
