The Popularity of the downeast motoryacht style continues to grow worldwide and Back Cove Yachts is leading the way with their new Downeast 37.Her V-hull and dependable diesel engine allows her to cruise efficiently and comfortably at 20 knots. On deck she is practical and well laid out with wide side decks, oversized hand rails and a most accommodating and social cockpit that moves easily into the bridge deck. Below she has all the comfort needed for a couple to day-hop or cruise for extended periods.

Lovely accommodations for Day tripping or light cruising. The master berth is forward and is a centerline queen with shelving outboard. Aft to port is the L-shaped galley that is fitted with a solid surface countertop, large stainless steel sink, convectionmicrowave and a combination stainless steel fridge/freezer. Many drawers and lockers are available for storing galley necessities. For longer cruisies, a huge storage space for additional galley supplies is located aft of the galley and accessible through the mates seat. An additional fridge is under the helm seat.

Her head offers a fully enclosed shower stall, a fresh water flush MSD, a solid surface countertop and a wood-framed mirror above the stainless steel sink. He head door has a full length mirror on its interior face.

Up several steps and one finds they are on the Bridge deck. Her helm is to port and fitted with a Stidd helm chair which faces the wood trimmed dash offering ample space for navigational electronics. Below the mates lounge is a huge storage space capable of devouring all of your water toys, your loose cockpit furniture, folding bicycles and more. She has a single love 150 square foot cockpit that runs from the cabin companionway to the transom door. Elevated seating with a footrest to starboard provides seating for two. To port a long settee converts from an aft facing L-0settee to a cozy mate's lounge which can seat two while underway. An elegant inlaid table can be lowered to form an additional sleeping accommodation or a comfortable lounge.

The cockpit is shaded by a retractable SureShade and large lazarette hatches provide access to all of the mechanical spaces below deck.
