Hunter 41 Aft Cabin Sloop

We are very pleased to present KINGFISHER II for sale. She was designed by Glenn Henderson of IOR performance fame and you'll find her sailing characteristics to be thoroughbred in nature while maintaining Hunter's lead in wonderful interiors and lovely cockpits. She sports the signature B & R rig for ease of sailing and incorporates many of the hull design innovations from Hunter’s larger boats. A Bow Hollow and Stern Reflex are performance enhancers and were adapted to give her a lift in speed.

KINGFISHER II is a one-owner yacht that has spent her entire life in freshwater. Her deck layout is arranged to maximize space and comfort and allow for short-handed sailing. She boasts a beautiful professionally-installed NuTeak deck and cockpit that gives her even more class and distinction from other 41’s on the market.

In her cockpit, a Lewmar® pedestal provides wonderful space for a full array of electronics and with her folding wheel, gives her lots of room to move around the cockpit. A massive sail locker to port can house all the extras with ease. Her dual sternperches give the crew and guests a wonderful lounging area to sit and enjoy life on board. Her full cockpit enclosure gives complete protection from the elements…be it from the sun or rainy days.

Belowdecks, her accommodations are spacious and luxurious. The master cabin is aft with a real queen-size inner spring mattress and plenty of storage, while the guest suite is forward with a Pullman-style berth. It also boasts a double inner spring mattress and includes a private head, shower and vanity. The aft head doubles as day head and offers a separate stall shower.

As a side note, access to her engine room is exceptional and she boasts the optional 56 hp Yanmar engine. The combination of her larger engine and her three-bladed feathering J-Prop moves her along effortlessly in both forward and reverse.

KINGFISHER II utilizes every inch of space and it really shows in the salon. A u-shaped convertible dinette and opposing convertible sofa will comfortably seat 8 and the large navigation station can hold a set of repeater electronics. Her flat-panel television with DVD Player and a Bose® stereo will enhance the experience aboard.

The Corian® covered galley is well thought out and includes a separate refrigerator and freezer, a microwave, a double stainless sink and a dual range with oven. She has a magnificent pantry and a cleverly lighted dishware compartment.
