Shannon 38 Hps

The Shannon 38 HPS (High Power Sailer) is not a traditional motorsailer, but a bold departure from conventional sailboats. The 38 HPS combines all the patented Shoalsailer features like sailing to windward in 36 inches of water with the powering speed of 12 knots made possible by SRD Technology. In addition, there is an inside, out of the weather, helm station as well as an outside cockpit helm for fair weather sailing to make getting there more enjoyable. The 38 HPS also offers a choice of twin 75hp engines or a single 165 hp engine and bow thrusters. Like all Shannons since 1975, the interior is 100% custom designed for each owner to suit their specific cruising requirements.  Walt Schulz designed a totally new rig for the 38 HPS that makes the ease of single-handed sailing in any weather conditions a true reality.
