Nordhavn Pilothouse

Solveig  is at our docks in Anacortes. NEW Alexseal HULL PAINT, the brightwork was stripped, sealed and (4) coats of varnish, and all joins between the two were caulked in October 2014. We are pleased to represent this exceptionally well maintained and equipped Nordhavn 46. 

Nordhavn formany of us who love the brand, if you mention the name, we immediately think of the 46 because it is the quintessential Nordhavn. Not only was it the first Power boat designed by Jeff Leishman and produced by PAE, for many Nordhavn buyers it was the first one they owned.  It was truly their “first love”.

The Nordhavn 46 perfectly defined the brand. A reliable and seaworthy vessel that was easy to handle yet capable of crossing any ocean.  The fact is that three 46s  have circumnavigated the world two did so with totally inexperienced owners.

Solveig is hull #72 that represents the latest improvements to the N46 model line. She has the preferred owner stateroom forward, larger engine room entrance door, Fiberglass tanks, Alexseal painted hull, and in impeccable condition with many custom features! 

Here are the new items just added:

• NEW Hull paint with Alexseal, a repairable hull paint, (http://www.alexseal.com/)
• NEW bootstripe
• NEW Bottom paint
• NEW (90) teak deck screws were replaced and teak plugs installed
• All the teak to hull contacts were caulked
• All the caprails were striped, sealed and (4) coats of vanish added
• NEW 19” Computer Screen in Pilothouse
• NEW (2) wireless remote cameras with 9” screen, (engine rm & cockpit)
• NEW bilge pump
• NEW Hailer
