Hans Christian Traditional

Looking for a true bluewater cruiser? Look no further... make an appointment to see this Hans Christian 41T named Teckla. Currently stored inside in Ohio, Teckla is in lovely shape with her new teak decks ('13) and repainted hull ('13).

Owners stateroom forward with over-sized pullmen berth to port with inner-spring mattress.  This mattress is hinged along the centerline so that access can be easily gained to the stowage area beneath the berth.  Outboard of the berth is a long bookshelf.  There are two reading lights on the bulkhead overhead.  Opposite the berth is a short bookshelf and vanity with seat.  There are ample drawers and full hanging locker.  Natural ventilation is provided by the opening overhead hatch and three opening portholes.  Just aft of the fwd. cabin is the enclosed marine head with storage lockers outboard.  There is also a separate tiled stall shower with seat and vanity with sink and mirror.  Moving aft through the main bulkhead is the salon.  There is a beautiful drop leaf table on centerline with a traditional butterfly opening hatch overhead.  A new 12 volt color LCD TV with DVD player is mounted on the Stbd. fwd. bureau.  Outboard on both sides of the salon are pilot berths with privacy curtains that make for comfortable berths at sea.  Inboard of the pilot berths are opposite facing settee's/berths with blue fabric coverings.  Aft to port is the U-shaped galley.  Opposite the galley is the full length wet locker along side several stowage lockers with a tremendous amount of space, a valuable asset for extended cruising.  All the way aft on the port side is the ships office/navigation center.  This is a separate small room with chart table and seat with tool box under.  Extensive electrical distribution and monitor panels as well as navigation electronics are properly located.  This is an ideal place for navigation duties at any time of the day or night without disturbing (or being disturbed by) other crew members.  All the way aft to Stbd is the quarter beth.  Right at the base of the companionway ladder this is an ideal sea berth, safe and secure in all weather and within earshot of the helmsman.  For a couple sailing alone, this is the ideal berth for the off watch crew member.  On centerline is the companionway ladder leading up to the cockpit.  Behind the ladder is the generator compartment.  On the port bulkhead leading up to the cockpit is the Westerbeke engine panel with gauges and ignition.
