Crossover From Sundance 49

The Crossover is a 49' cruising trimaran powered by an inboard diesel engine. It's different than any other yacht out there. The styling, construction, and price are all revolutionary.

Why? The Crossover was developed in response to the out of control cost of conventional recreational yachts. Luxury yachts used to cost as much as a modest vacation home or a couple of car payments. The Crossover brings those times back.

Comfortable one level interior: The cubic styling of the house allows for a spacious and comfortable one level interior. High ceilings and large windows are unlike any other yacht of similar size. The Crossover is a two stateroom, one head yacht with an emphasis on comfort and usability. The full beam master has aft cockpit access and incredible views of passing scenery. The second stateroom has bunks that can fold up or down depending on which of the four cabin configurations desired: stateroom with bunks, sitting room with sofa, walk in closet, or office.

Affordable quality through smarter engineering: The Crossover was designed around a very unique system of unibody construction. When bonded together, the five major fiberglass parts that make up the yacht are incredibly strong. The unibody construction saves materials and makes the boat lighter weight, but more importantly saves thousands of hours in labor over conventional yacht construction. In other words, we've invested time and energy up front to build complex molds, to dramatically simplify production and offer a more affordable high quality yacht.

Efficient, stable hull: Below the waterline, the Crossover's tri-hull shape is extremely efficient and very stable. It takes minimal effort to push, meaning it burns less fuel, increases cruising range, and requires a smaller and less expensive engine. Above the waterline the bow is high for cruising in rougher water, including protected salt water like the San Juan Islands and Puget Sound.
