Full keel, Canoe stern bluewater cruising, cutter rigged sloop.  Only two owners - Present owners have owned her since 2001 - The ongoing maintenance has kept her in BRISTOL condition !! Truly a unique and beautiful boat that needs nothing.

Full cockpit - Bimini (2013) - Dodger (2011) - Connector - All around cockpit cushions (Closed cell foam) for comfort and dryness - Pedestal steering - Fold up / down table - Beautiful varnished teak coaming  surrounding cockpit. Custom teak grided platform in front of helm seat.

Cutter rigged with Kenyon painted aluminum mast, boom and single spreaders - Keel stepped - Stainless rigging with double lowers, intermediate and baby stay. Four to one purchase main sheet with Lewmar traveler forward in the cockpit. Bronze genoa and inboard staysail tracks with cars and blocks.

Fully battened main with lazy jacks and sail cover - (New in 2009) - Geona (Approx 125 %) on Harken roller furler - Staysail on Harken roller furler.

Two 50 gallon fuel tanks - Each tank has its own dedicated Dahl fuel filter and fuel pump.

Engine controls are on the binnacle - Instrument panel is located on the forward bulkhead of the cockpit

This yacht was constructed by Liberty Yachts in Riverira Beach, Florida - ONLY SIX WERE MADE - SUN JOY IS HULL # 4.

Hull and deck construction is 100% hand laid fiberglass with integral sheer flange for a strong, watertight hull / deck joint. The connection has mated hull and deck flanges bedded in 3M 5200 and through bolted on 4" centers with stainless bolts

The decks are 100% hand laminated with 3/4 inch thick high density closed cell - non absorbent core. There is solid fiberglass in the areas where hardware is through bolted

Bulkheads are marine grade plywood with Airex fillet and fiberglassed to hull on both sides

Pulpit with double anchor rollers - 35 lb CQR with 250' of chain - 35 lb Bruce anchor with 30' of chain and 200' nylon rode - Danforth spare anchor - Divided anchor locker
