The Solaris 48’ born from the experience of the American Bill Tripp, one of the most successful designers of maxi and mega yachts among the most beautiful and most renowned in the world, and from his skill in designing perfectly balanced and functional water lines, appendages and sail plans. The adopted technical solutions on the Solaris 48’ represent for many people a bench mark usual on a 50ft: short overlapping jib with outboard chainplates, proper tender garage, large sail locker forward, large cockpit with areas for every aspect of life on board, deck layout for proper use with a reduced crew, interior layout with storage areas and space for comfortable extended passages. The Solaris 48’ is destined to remain one of the great classics among the pleasure sailing yachts, both from the aesthetic point of view and for the quality of the hull while sailing, to rely on for a completely comfortable experience at sea.

Speed on the sea means safety. To be fast we chose Bill Tripp for the water-lines, appendages and sail plan. To build her we had to rely entirely on rigidity: the hull and deck made through an infusion process, the main bulkhead and chain-plates made of composite. The deck ergonomics results from the need to limit manoeuvring space and have wide living spaces. The interior layout is planned for comfort even while cruising. The weights are all mid-ship without giving up stowage space. Our attention to detail reflects the Serigi tradition. Solaris One 48’, the new one.
