Islander Freeport - New arrival

 A great example of a classic and proven cruiser designed by Robert Perry. Timeless profile and good bluewater passage maker.

Features a layout different from typical, and better. The larger head compartment and shower is forward, the main sleeping cabin is just behind with a large double "Pullman" berth along one side. Then a large and comfortable saloon/ galley with lots of storage and large windows all the way around the compartment. Another rare feature, the minimum headroom to the main cabin is 6'7" and by the berth and head compartment, 6'4"

The Freeport features a unique drop down transom gate/ swim ladder that makes swimming or boarding a dingy very easy. 

The original Pathfinder engine has been replaced and upgraded to a 63hp Yanmar diesel. Bottom painted July 2014, blister free.
