Goetz/Peterson One Ton - Price just reduced
SUBSTANTIAL PRICE REDUCTION - Terrific Value!! WILDWOOD was built for the OneTon Worlds of 1981. She was designed by Doug Peterson and built by Eric Goetz in WEST System composite, with the mandate that she be built stout and strong... the owner's previous boat having had an unfortunate encounter with some underwater real estate. Eric Goetz went on to build many competitive racing vessels and notable designs. WILDWOOD sailed competitively for a few years, and in 1987 she was taken to Concordia Yachts to install a comfortable cruising cockpit, remove the original pilot berths, add storage, and to improve the galley. Ever since, she has been owned by sailors with a keen appreciation of her sailing qualities, while enjoying more comfort than the usual racer. In the mid 1990's she was sold to Teddy Turner, who had the rig rebuilt with new boom, oversize roller furling, staysail and checkstays. Her present owner bought her in 2001, and sailed her to Maine, where she has undergone extensive restoration and upgrades WILDWOOD offers a nice combination of a great-sailing vessel with a pedigree, and cruising comfort. All the way forward is the V-berth cabin, with filler and forepeak storage. Just aft is the athwarship head, with head to port (Holding tank w. Y-valve) , sink to starboard. Aft of the main bulkhead are facing settees P&S with storage outboard. The salon table is hinged on the mast. Galley is aft, to starboard. Nav station aft, to port. Double-sized quarter berth behind Nav station to port.
