The Bavaria 1060 has an exceptionally well designed internal layout maximising all available space.

This three double cabin (comprising Forecabin and two aft cabins) Bavaria 1060 is an idea blue water cruiser.

The Volvo Penta 2003 28hp engine was given a cylinder head service in 2010 and has had oil, anode, impeller and oil and fuel filter changes every year; diesel consumption approximately 1.5 litres per hour at 1,800 RPM.

This Bavaria 1060 benefits from a comprehensive specification including:

Three solar panels totalling approximately 140 watts, a Rutland 913 wind generator and a Forgen turbine wind generator. The engine generator has a sterling high output management unit fitted; there are two inverters both 12v DC to 230 v AC giving 330 watts and 1500 watts.

Two heavy duty batteries one for domestic services and the other for engine starting.

Two electrically operated automatic bilge pumps and one manual.

Genoa with new UV strip, Crusader fully battened mainsail, lazy jacks, a sail packer with associated sheets and blocks, a Spinnaker and spinnaker pole.

Navigation equipment includes a Garmin GPS 130, a Yeoman chart plotter with information sent to the Furuno radar display mounted on the binnacle along with compass, depth and wind indicators.

Turkish and Eastern Greece Mediterranean paper charts and a Turkish pilot book.

Icom VHF radio (one year old), Navtex and Radio telex weather reporting systems. Autohelm 4000 self-steering equipment and hand bearing compass.

Safety equipment:- 4 man coastal liferaft, 2 lifejackets & harnesses, 2 survival suits, throwing line, inflatable lifebuoy, MOB recovery system, sea drogue, radar reflector & SOS grab bag.

One bow anchor with 80 metres chain a Lofrans 1200 watt electric anchor winch (operating cable stretches to cockpit), one stern Danforth anchor with 15 metres chain and 100 metres flat webbing, anchor angel, snubbing hook, untangling hook, marker buoy, black ball,10 fenders and low consumption anchor light.

Blackwater tank with deck mounted extraction, fulfils Turkish environmental regulations.

Electrically operated "Heads" with macerator.

Katadyne water maker which can make 5 - 6 litres an hour of fresh water from sea water.

Fresh water tanks X 4 approximately 400ltrs.

Galley:-  Waco fridge (keel cooler), 2 stainless steel sinks, Pressurised  hot/cold mixer tap and filter tap and foot pump sea water tap. Smev gimballed 2 ring gas cooker grill and oven. 2 fire extinguishers and fire blanket.

Cockpit:- Teak folding & extending table, bimini frame, cover and spray hood, dodgers, engine controls, washboards, swimming platform, bathing ladder & fresh water shower.

Full topsides winter cover, all domestic equipment remaining plus many spares and comprehensive set of tools.

Complete with Seago 230 dinghy with 2 oars and Tohatsu 3.5 Hp outboard two stroke petrol engine.

Well looked after and all inventory in very good condition.

Kept in marina environment and on the hard during winters.
