                                  The most famous "Fountain Race Boat" ever produced.

Raced for 4 years as Fountain Factory Race Team. Used in Fountain Advertising. Set the V Bottom speed Record at 161 MPH.  Brand new 540 Stroker Motors,  Never used,  Pump gas. Engines were built for Weiland 871 blower package,,The boat is being sold with 1150 Demon Carbs approx 700 hp.   Drives with Herring skegs.   All electronics,  2 person cockpit with oxygen.   The owner has purchased a Fountain to relax with his wife in and it's time for the Race boat to find a new home.... 

Engine Bay:  2 oversized bilge pumps with 1 manual pump. Halon fire fighting system 3 cylinders full coverage. Oxygen bottle mounted in lower part of bilge.  New dry cell battery. Extra heavy duty reinforced stringers.  Staggered engine configuration with covered driveshafts.  SCS crashboxes, High flow Holley electric fuel pumps/ 15 gallon engine oil tanks.  One piece hatch with 4 pins. extra large air intake system over canopy

Engines:  2 540 cu in 750 hp Mercury Racing Super Cat engines. Built to class specs. Compression lowered for pump gas use.  Completely brand new with 1 hr test time. Best of everything inside,  Lunati, Carillo, Manley, Crane. 4 stage dry sump oiling system, Barry Grant blueprinted 1150 Demon carbs.   Power steering, rebuilt alternators and sea pumps.  New Oil coolers CMI Big Tube custom designed for side exhaust headers. 

Drives: #6 Mercury Racing Super Speedmasters,  4 blade labbed offshore props with new gimbal

Cockpit: 2 shock absorbing buckets. Tiger intercom-new GPS speedo VHF with land communication, Tachs with recall, full or part time Oxygen, Full steel roll cage. Aircraft quality cockpit windows.

History:   Originally named Znetix it's first yr.  Won 8 out of 9 races and National and World Championships.  It's name then changed to Shockwave for 2 yrs until she was picked up by the Rio Roses Company. It was used in Fountain Advertising for that time as the centerfold,  She was Raced many times by Reggie Fountain himself..Set first World V Bottom Speed record at 161 by Reggie Fountain,  Holds numerous class speed records still today... 6 time National and 3 time World title holder.  Finished 2nd overall out of 50 boats in last Key West Worlds out running the top class of 140 MPH catamarans.  Never before done by a V bottom.  

As the boat is set now it will run about 90mph. on pump gas.. Modify the motor with the blower package and add Hering 6 blade props should have it running in the 130's   Put in 1300's and it will be back to 161
