Charley Morgan built the Heritage 38 West Indies to compete with his Morgan 41. These boats were overbuilt for the charter business in mind so they have been designed and constructed with a forward cabin and aft cabin along with two heads, both with showers! The hull is solid fiberglass and the deck is constructed utilizing a balsa wood core. This boat is known to have stiff and stable sailing characteristics making her known as a very safe vessel.
She was completely refurbished in the mid 1980s and has been in fresh water ever since. It has received regular maintenance, and is structurally ready to sail.
