Cnb 76 Ft Cruiser / Racer - New arrival

LILLA is a semi-custom CNB 76 (hull No. 12) designed for Transatlantic crossings and island cruising/chartering. Her current owner added a number of key features for safe offshore navigation, passage making, commercial chartering, and offshore racing. She has been making annual passages from New England to the Caribbean since 2009 but is now back in Palma de Mallorca.

The Briand design makes for a quick and exciting sailing boat as witnessed by her racing performance, with CNB converting that design into a strong hull and rig. Lilla has been inspected annually. She is VAT paid.

2011 Marion Bermuda Line honours, 1st in Class 1st overall and Race record!

2012 Newport Bermuda Race 1st in Cruising Division overall

2013 Caribbean 600 1st in Class 1, 2 and 3 IRC.

LILLA had a detailed hull inspection in 2008 including ultrasonic material thickness checks and build checked against drawing for commercial endorsement. (Report available by request)

Hull:  Is of aluminium construction.
Awlgrip maroon colour painted hull topsides.
Hull below waterline stripped back to metal and re-faired (2008).
Considerable effort has been made on each haul out to ensure a smooth race finish on bottom.

Deck: Is of aluminium construction, with teak laid decking.
The swept laid decking is epoxy glued to a marine ply sub deck (replaced 2002). Teak toe rail.

Superstructure: aluminium – Awlgrip white (repainted 2003).  
Keel: lead, bolted externally.
Rudder: Removed and rudder bearings (replaced 2010).
Steering: wheel / wire quadrant system.

External trim teak and stainless steel.
Watertight crash bulkhead: aft of sail locker, added 2009.
All wrap around windows in main saloon (re-bedded 2010).
