Mep Mpy 1500

The first of a new line of performance cruising yachts from designer Marcelo Penna and builder MEP, the MPY 1500 is a shorthanded performance cruiser with an emphasis on being lightweight and strong. Constructed in Alustar aluminum/titanium the MPY 1500 is a true sailors yacht that incorporates modern features like twin rudders and an open transom cockpit making her a great vessel at sea and at anchor.  
This first model of the MPY 1500 range has completed over 25,000nm of trial sailing from Spain to New Zealand and averaged an impressive 11 knots across the Pacific Ocean two handed.
