Serengeti was built by the world renowned New Zealand boat builder, Ian Franklin. The construction details, fit and finish, as well as the beautiful woodwork all are testament to the builder's skills and the attention to details.

This aptly describes the stylish nature of Serengeti; she is a very unique yacht, a rare opportunity that combines comfortable offshore cruising with race winning performance.  Serengeti is a very well built and well equipped, state of the art yacht.  She is designed to be equally comfortable on the race course or cruising in tropical waters. Designed with a hydraulical lifting keel, which gives her the ability go into shallow waters, yet still sail without compromise.  The lifting keel has a travel range of approximately 5 feet, reducing her sailing draft from 13'7" to a harbor draft of 8'7".

The construction details, fit and finish, as well as the beautiful woodwork all are testament to the builder's skills and their attention to detail.  The interior is light and airy with the generous use of maple veneers. The floorboards are beautifully done in mahogany with cherry inlays.  Throughout the boat there are exquisite woodworking details that add style and functional ventilation. Every cabin space has at least one opening port for light and ventilation.
