Every once in a while a yacht comes along that is instantly appealing and this John Brandimayr designed centre cockpit sloop built by Spencer Yachts Canada in 1974 is definitely one. ISLE OF SKYE has beautiful lines, a large deep and safe cockpit and proven blue water sailing ability and is well into her second circumnavigation. Very strongly built in solid GRP with solid timber interior with many custom made S/S fittings she was built in the days when real craftsmen were unhindered by the demands of company accountants, and outfitted with oversize equipment for the rigours of offshore cruising.

ISLE OF SKYE has a lovely rich timber interior and a spacious and comfortable saloon, a well fitted galley with plenty of storage and refrigeration. The forward cabin has a double V berth and just aft is the forw’d head and shower with a hanging locker and storage opposite. The full sized nav station is to stb’d of the companionway with a passage leading to the large comfortable aft cabin with ensuite. A pilot berth with storage under is located here with side door access to the huge engine room fitted with a Yanmar 4JH2-TE 63hp diesel done only 2586 hours and a full workshop area. She has a good sail inventory, new emergency 1kva portable generator, new Nexus auto pilot and 50amp Victron battery charger. To make her pristine the hull and decks need re painting, the saloon upholstery fabric is worn and the laminate bench tops need up grading but this has been allowed for in the asking price.
