General Description
Designed by Jean Berret, the Beneteau First 325 was introduced in 1985 as a replacement for the First 32. Like all the "First" series yachts from Beneteau, she was marketed as a fast family cruiser with racing potential.

The design was regarded as fast and well-mannered. She has well finished cruising accommodation with a double aft cabin, a forward facing chart table, a good galley, and a vee-double forecabin.

The First 325 was offered with deep or standard fin keels. The design remained in production until 1989/90, when it was replaced with the First 32s5 - the "S" referring to unusual Phillipe Starck designed interiors.

Actual Condition
It was reported that this boat broke from her mooring during a Nor'easter and was washed ashore, causing substantial damage to various exterior portions of the boat, including the aft transom corner, port and starboard hull sides, rudder, keel and cabin sump area.

It does not appear that their was any major water intrusion, and the interior appears to be all together and in good condition.

The mast and rigging appears to be intact, and it appears that a full inventory of sails is aboard the vessel.
