Cal 2/27 - New arrival

This is an outstanding opportunity to buy a proven racer/cruiser with a brand new Beta Diesel (< 50 hours). The installation was professionally done by Beta Marine. The boat was hauled in summer 2014. It has new bottom paint.

The interior is teak, with a larger forward cabin than usually found in a 27' boat. The boat sails well. To quote Practical Sailor, "Owners feel the boat stands up well to windy conditions, stating they feel safe in the boat because she is stable, does not heel excessively, and remains under control when the usual precautions have been taken (i.e., shortening sail)."

This is a quality 27 footer. This boat has 6' 2" headroom throughout the cabin. Combined with its 9' 3" beam, its cabin is comfortable and feels larger than it is.

The forward cabin includes a comfortable Vee berth with a privacy door. This is an improvement made in the later Cal 2/27s. Teak trim is used to give it a cozy feel.

Moving aft from the Vee berth is a hanging locker, marine head (port side) and sink to starboard. The head area has two doors to ensure privacy -- one separating it from the Vee berth and one separating it from the salon. 

The salon features beautiful teak woodwork. There's a teak dining table that folds up against the bulkead. When lowered there's access to the teak shelving unit, perfect for storing dinnerware or books and magazines. There are two comfortable settees, one on each side.  Aft of the settees, to starboard, is a safe, reliable alcohol stove and a stainless steel sink. To port is the icebox and additional storage.
