Catalina 380

This beautifully maintained Catalina 380 is the only one on the market with a bow thruster.  Additional equipment includes reverse cycle heat/air, Forespar dinghy davit, St Croix dinghy motor hoist, Questas radar post, and full array of electronics.  Importantly, the 380 model has features not found on the 387 model.  Among those advantages are the walk-around  Edson wheel on the 380 (thus no climbing onto the seats when moving around the helm area); a generous U-shaped settee is found on the 380 vs the smaller L-shaped settee on the 387; and there is a convenient sink and vanity in the forward stateroom vs none on the 387. 

This Catalina 380 shows like new due to the extraordinary care her original owners have given her.  All of the systems have been maintained diligently, and upgrades/improvements have been added every year.  She is stored out of the water and under a custom-built canvas cover every off-season. There is no odor, no dust, no mildew, no stains, no dings, and all systems and electronics work exactly as they should.  Because of the customized filtering system the owners installed, you can even drink the water directly from the tank.  Again, the bow thruster makes this extraordinary boat a breeze to handle around the docks.  After much soul searching, the owners are selling her to move to a power boat to do the Great Loop.  She must be seen to be appreciated.  

The roomy V berth (with insert) is forward, and includes a vanity and sink, and ample drawers, cabinets and a hanging locker.  There is a large hatch and two opening ports.  

Aft is the bright main cabin (5 hatches and several opening ports in the salon) with a convertible U shaped settee and teak drop-down dining table to port, and a convertible straight settee, which will sleep one, to starboard.  Aft of the settee to port is the large L shaped galley, and opposite is the nav station with a swivel seat. Immediately aft of the nav station, at the foot of the companionway, is the entrance to the head and its roomy stall shower.  To starboard, above the settee, is the TV, comfortably viewed from the port settee.

Accessible through the galley as well as through the head, is the master stateroom with its full queen berth.  There are settees outboard on each side.  On the forward bulkhead  is a vanity and TV.  Outboard of the settees on each side are long cabinets with sliding doors, and each side also has large his and hers hanging lockers with handy shelves within.  Overhead, there are two big hatches into the cockpit on each side adding plenty of light and ventilation.

The mattresses in each cabin are 7" thick. The teak interior and teak/holly sole are in like-new condition, as are all of the soft goods.
