Ed Monk Sr. Trawler - New arrival

SCAUP was designed by Ed Monk Sr. & Loren Garden. Built by Clark Brothers in Brentwood Bay, British Columbia. The profile is of a slightly raked stem, straight shear with a raised deck aft, and open cockpit. The trawler style pilothouse and raised aft trunk cabin are traditional with dry stack and Aluminum "A" frame aft of stacks. The vessel is traditional and well kept. The owner had a variety of well known classics, all with the working boat affect. This is a very unique vessel and was prepared for a lengthy voyage north, when the owners plans changed. Covered moorage in Ballard possible. Estate Sale. Serious inquires please.  SHOWN BY APPOINTMENT.

The Volvo diesel main engines were installed in 1970 and reported rebuilt in 1980. The hours are indicated @ under 450 on meters at the helm console. These are presumed to be since the rebuild, but not certain. They are keel cooled with dry-stack exhaust. Capital gears. Mechanical Morse controls.
