Rawson 48 Pilothouse, Liveaboard - Price just reduced AGAIN !
Looking for a great coastal cruiser and live aboard? For years, Rawson was well known in the pacific northwest for building rough and ready fishing boats along with a line of rugged but comfortable liveaboards. Solid construction, great cabin layout, reliable twin Detroit 4-53's, and a host of upgrades and improvements make this an ideal cruiser and live aboard for life in the Northwest. The hull is a hard-chine design with a raked and flared bow, and a plumb transom stern fitted with a swim step. There is a roomy foredeck followed by narrow side decks leading aft on either side of a raised pilothouse and the main cabin to a short aft cockpit. A flying bridge is fitted over the pilothouse with a full-console helm station followed by a boat deck with single davit. S.S. rails surround the decks. Recent upgrades make this very comfortable, the galley is wonderful. Tankage gives this cruiser a nice long range. A new Zodiac/outboard combo launched from the upper deck make the anchored out option easy. New rear hatch and deck just completed, looks great! Come see this boat and live your dream! In the bow there is a chain locker. Moving aft through the vessel, there is a Vee berth stateroom with drawer and locker stowage and a hatch in the overhead, followed by a head compartment. A short passageway leads aft with the master stateroom to port and steps to starboard leading up and aft to the pilothouse. The master stateroom is fitted with a queen berth, drawer and locker stowage and an en suite head compartment. Steps to starboard lead up to the pilothouse, which is fitted with a full-console helm station on centerline, a chart table to port, doors to port and starboard accessing the side decks, and raised L-shaped bench seating with a pedestal table and a freezer under. Steps inboard to starboard lead up to the flying bridge, with steps outboard to starboard leading down to the main salon. The salon is fitted with a U-shaped galley to port followed by an L-shaped settee, with open accommodations opposite to starboard. A door aft opens onto the cockpit.
