De Fever Lrc/Trawler

 "MISS TRESS"   1980  DeFever 48    Same owner for the last 28 years. 

The DeFever 48 is a heavy displacement long range cruiser originally built by CTF yard in Taiwan.  She's heavily constructed on a solid fiberglass semi-displacement hull with a long keel, a fine entry and hard aft chines.  The DeFever 48 features 3 staterooms, U shaped galley located at the salon level and a remarkably spacious engine room.  Inside, the DeFever is finished with teak paneling and cabinetry throughout- all done to the highest of standards.  The floorplan includes three staterooms, two full heads and a spacious salon with lower helm and sliding deck doors port and starboard.  The design of the 48' DeFever remains very popular. PRODUCTION FIRST STARTED in 1978. 

The DeFever 48 is well known for it's seakindliness and for it's smart interior.  Her wide and covered side decks make for safe and comfortable travelling while on deck.  The teak aft and foredeck add wonderful outdoor square footage for lounging or site seeing.  Additionally the bridge deck give the helmsman ultimate visability. 

Two sliding doors align the starboard side, one leading into the galley and the other to the helm.  Salon, Lower Helm and Galley on the same level keeps everyone together.  Terrific headroom approx.  6' 7" . Eberspacher Heater.  Hannspree HD Flatscreen.

Down the companionway and forward is a guest stateroom with upper and lower bunks.  Directly to starboard is a full head and shower. In the forepeak are two and very easily three more berths (or two berths berths with extras seating).   We call this the Kid's room. 

Aft of the Salon and Galley is the Master Cabin.  Centerline Queen size berth, generous storage, vanity and full head and shower. 

Varnished teak parquet floors. 

Combination Washer/Dryer in starboard cabinet in Master Stateroom. It washes and dries without interruption

Teak decks are in very nice shape.
