Hunter 54 - New arrival

Built by Luhrs. Designed for production by Cherubini.

This hull design shares a pedigree with the protoype Hunter 54 designed by Paul Lindenberg called "Tuesday's Child" that broke the record for the Observer Single-handed Transatlantic Race in 1989.

Only 40 of these fast cruisers were produced by Hunter, one of the foremost sailing yacht builders in the world today. She is distinctive, light and fast, solidly built with a PHRF rating of 51.

This is a rare "World Class" cruiser/racer with a newer engine. She has one of the best stability ratios of any production monohull built. The yacht is very well balanced and a dream to sail in any sea condition, but once you get 10 knots or above she really starts to move.

The owner recently broke his hip and is no longer able to sail. Motivated to sell, he does not want this boat to sit idle.
