The Swan 53 is an elegant cruising Swan designed to be easily sailed by two people whilst providing a very rewarding sail for the committed yachtsman. The single cockpit has all halyards and sheets lead to accessible points allowing single handed setting and reefing of both the main and headsail. Twin wheels, single point main sheet with both cockpit and coach roof attachment allowing easy access to fold down transom for swimming and accessing boat from the ships tender. Her interior is both spacious and luxurious – as you would expect of a modern Swan. A contemporary styling in hand finished Nautor teak with four sleeping cabins and a well-appointed saloon.

Of course, she is fully equipped in every way including full safety and galley equipment. She is ready to be launched and with a little victualing she will be ready to go cruise – anywhere. Mellifera has only been used very lightly by her current, second owner and this is the main reason for her sale. The original owner who bought her new from the factory delivered her from Finland to the South Coast UK with gentle cruising thereafter. Her condition can only be described “as new” having been skipper maintained since being launched at the factory.

The present owner has cruised her here in the UK, sailed her across the Atlantic in the ARC and cruised her carefully in the West Indies since. She is currently out of the water with the mast down and is located in Bobby’s Superyacht Marina, Simpson Bay.
