M.V. Pacifica is a near new long range cruiser and new to the market, perfect for Nomad who has worked hard and now wants to explore in style, comfort and the reassurance of a very strong hull with a multitude of redundancy systems.  Launched at Hastings in Victoria in October 2009 it has cruised from Melbourne to the Whitsunday’s and is ready to explore the Pacific Islands, Australian coastline or simply cruise the Whitsunday’s in Luxury. With two very economical John Deere engines with low hours, MV Pacifica has a range of 2750 nautical miles.

Entering the saloon, there is a wonderful flow from the spacious aft deck with the natural light filtering through the large saloon windows. The beautiful craftsmanship is displayed throughout the boat with the Myrtle wood sourced from South America, with multiple coats of gloss varnish. All flooring is Burmese Teak with African Ash strips.

The beautiful wood work continues and flows down below to the sumptuous cabins. Featuring a master, double and a single bunk room cabin there is ample space for visitors and/or crew. The master is forward of the saloon and like all the cabins features it own ultra leather covered mattress, Majestic digital TV, marine sound system and air conditioning.

The engine room is immaculate with excellent access for servicing. An Onan generator that will automatically start when the batteries are low, Spectra water maker, Naiad stabilisers with extra hydraulic pump for redundancy, Hydrive hydraulic steering with second redundancy motor as back up with independent batteries, a fuel de- bugging unit and fuel polishing filters ensure those reliable John Deere motors will always do what you ask of them.

When it comes to electronics, it’s all onboard. Satellite phone with world coverage, Satellite TV, Raymarine chart plotters x 3 with Australia wide maps (2010), forward facing sonar, 72nm radar, Raymarine 8200 auto pilot and a 1KW dual frequency Raymarine depth sounder all make for one of the most highly spec’d and safest vessels available.
