A refined yacht with some Italian flair, this 65' 2005 Carver 65 Marquis is an exceptional combination of styling, accommodation and performance.

From the cockpit, enter the salon through a stainless steel framed convex glass door.  The ingenious use of the full beam lends nicely to the large salon entertaining area.  The floor plan merges seamlessly into the galley, formal dining area and pilothouse helm station.  The abundance of windows along the sides fill the room with natural light, expanding the apparent width of the room. Ultraleather seating provides ample room for guests, and with a touch of a button the plasma screen TV slides into built-in cabinetry and disappears from sight.

The attention to detail is impeccable, from the perfect joinery of the imported cherry & sapelle pomelle wood, to the formal dining table across from the port-side galley which slides back against the wall when it's not needed to allow a workable centerline passageway.  The fully equipped galley includes a full size refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, trash compactor, coffeemaker, stove top, convection microwave and double stainless steel sink.

One of the roomiest boats in this size range, this three-stateroom design offers pleasing proporations.  The master stateroom offers a king size bed, nightstands, full size washer/dryer and plenty of storage. The VIP stateroom with a queen island berth has cedar-lined lockers to port and starboard and a private head with shower  The third stateroom offers side-by-side bunks with access to the day head which also has a shower.

The flybridge has a hardtop with a full enclosure and custom canvas for privacy.  Two companion seats next to the Captain's helm chair offer seating for three at the helm.  A curved bar area with grill, sink, refrigerator and ice maker compliment the U-shaped lounge and custom teak table providing an additional entertainment area.

Access the engine room from a water tight door in the transom and you'll find twin MTU diesels.

The 65 Marquis rides like a much larger yacht, but is well within the capabilities of a skilled owner-operator.
