Eendracht has been owned by people committed to simplicity. She has minimal complications in terms of electricity but is well equipped with items that make cruising comfortable and safe, such as:  
Garmin Chartplotter, 
Raymarine RL-72 Radar,

Maxprop feathering prop, 
Maxwell electric windlass,
Anchor washdown

With fully battened main, reefing at the mast and staysail boom, she is traditionally rigged and will appeal to the traditionalists looking for Cape Dory strength, good looks, good lines as well as the coveted CD sailing prowess.  Eendracht has been sailed largely on the Chesapeake Bay for the last 15 years, but previously did numerous trips down to the Caribbean and across the Atlantic to Europe under previous ownership. 

She has been professionally maintained throughout her life and recent maintenance includes refinishing of the brightwork in November 2013. The boat was re-powered in 2001 and had a new set of sails in the same year in addition to which there are 2 spare mainsails and Yankees and 1 spare staysail.

The layout is the traditional, galley to port, Nav Station to starboard with the quarterberth doubling as the seat.  Forward is the salon with straight settees on each side with plentiful storage and the table offset to port. The table has large leaves that fold down and adjust to the angle of heel.  Forward of the salon, on the starboard side is a hanging locker and inside the V-berth is drawer storage to starboard and more storage to port.  The V-berth also has storage shelves down each hull and at the foot of the bunk, where there is access to the anchor locker. The head is opposite the hanging locker.
